Whats cheaper to build – turbo or n/a?

In the long run, and using it as a daily driver (gas IS included) which is cheaper in this scenario.

Turbo tercel (1.5L) and we use CHEAP DSM/mitsubishi parts which you can buy at the price of water..

Or parts to make a v8 camaro gain hp.

My friend is dropping a tercel he already has to pick up a camaro because his dad says its cheaper to build.

You buy double the parts, and larger sized parts for a v8, right?

The weak point in the 5e toyota engine is just the rods till over 300hp in a 1900lb car. You buy rods and a tdo5 turbo and fabricate a manifold and you’re in the 11s.

I could be wrong, but which do YOU think costs less?

Biased opinions aside please or don’t waste your time.
