What aftermarket performance parts can i use on the 91 Civic DX?

I own a 1991 1.5L 4-Cylinder Civic DX. I want to make this car into a racing-type car. What would you suggest I buy for it to make its performance better in the streets?
…and somehow i knew some jerk would come up insult a car and go away with a false air of superiority. Shut up. Ok?

People with real answers please help out. But if youre going to be rude, then keep walking please.
and with real answers i mean an actual answer to my question and not snide little comments about how “japanese cars suck” or “that car sucks”.
